Tropical Wings : Tropical Wings Zoo at South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, is a fabulous wildlife park set in acres of attractive grounds and features one of the largest butterfly houses in the country. There are many different species of birds, insects and animals. We spent 6 hours wandering around and could quite happily of spent another 6, every time we went into the butterfly house we would find something different.

Paradise Wildlife Park 04-05-09 : Spent a few hours today at the 'Paradise Wildlife Park' dodging the rain showers, quite a small place (unless you have small kids as the play areas are vast) but some supurb big cats amongst other things and the viewing platforms are great. most of the shot's were through large mesh so you may see some distortion as I had to try and 'zoom past' it. All taken with the Sony A700 & 70-300 G

Tropical Wings 09-08-09 : Trying out the 70-400G glass, bit noisey inside the butterfly house as I had to crank the iso up but outside - the colour and sharpness just blew me away, to say I'm impressed would be an understatement. All hand held as per usual for me, hope you enjoy.
